Help us reach our end-of-year fundraising goal between now and December 31st!
We need your help. Did you know?:
In 2021, to-date, Selma has experienced 22 violence-related deaths, the most in the past 6 years, with over 350 calls for Shots Fired in a three month period. The program focuses on several neighborhoods (Hot Spots) within the City of Selma and across the bridge in the Selmont, an unincorporated section of Dallas County.
That is why we launched the Violence Intervention Program.

We are raising funds to hire a Victim Service Advocate. A Victim Service Advocate:
- Provides holistic, client-centered, wraparound services to survivors of homicide and living victims of violent crime throughout Selma and Selmont.
- Supports every victim regardless of circumstance, background, or former offender status.
- Responds to homicides and assaults within 24 hours
