We can hire a Victim Service Advocate for the Violence Intervention Program

Help me help victims of violence in Selma and Dallas County, AL

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that there have been over 20 violence-related deaths in Selma in 2021 I knew I needed to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth & Reconciliation. Their campaign to hire a Victim Service Advocate for the Violence Intervention Program will reduce acts of violence and retaliation in Selma and Dallas County, AL—and you can be a part of it.

A Victim Service Advocate:

• Provides holistic, client-centered, wraparound services to survivors of homicide and living victims of violent crime throughout Selma and Selmont.
• Supports every victim regardless of circumstance, background, or former offender status.
• Responds to homicides and assaults within 24 hours
