Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us reduce acts of violence and retaliation in Selma and Dallas County by supporting a new Victim Service Advocate for Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth & Reconciliation
We need your help. Did you know?:
In 2021, Selma experienced 25 murders, seeing a 56% increase from 2016 when the city was rated the 8th most dangerous place in the United States per capita. With over 350 calls for Shots Fired in a three month period, Selma needs the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) and your help.
The VIP focuses on several neighborhoods (Hot Spots) within the City of Selma and across the bridge in the Selmont, an unincorporated section of Dallas County.
That is why we launched the Violence Intervention Program.
